Sally Hammock

Sally Hammock has worked at the Career Center since Fall Semester, 2018, as a part-time Program Manager.  Her duties are project-related, and have included assisting with Career Fair coordination and managing staff search processes. 

Sally's career at Georgia Tech was at the Student Center, where she was Associate Director for Programs at the time of her retirement. Prior to working post-retirement at the Career Center, she worked part-time at the GT Center for Academic Enrichment with the Think Big and GT 1000 and GT 2000 programs. 

Working closely with GT students on event planning and leadership skills development is Sally's professional passion. She has held numerous volunteer leadership positions with the Association of College Unions International, receiving a Lifetime Honorary Membership upon retirement from the Student Center. In her leisure time, she thrives on travel,  has worked with the Georgia Tech Oxford Student Abroad Program six times, and has visited six continents.  Sally graduated from Jacksonville State University with a B.A. in Spanish. Her travels have included Mexico, Colombia, Argentina, and Spain (nine times).
