Articulating transferable skills and strengths is a key part of the career development process. The Center for Career Discovery and Development (C2D2) will be putting on a workshop focused on Transferable Skills. Georgia Tech graduate students often search for jobs in technology, finance, consulting, nonprofit, government, and other sectors. One key aspect of searching for a job in any sector is having the ability to effectively communicate your experiences and fit concisely. You will also learn how to weave your academic, volunteer, and/or leadership experience into answers. This workshop will focus on helping graduate students to navigate the interview process, and strategize on how to effectively answer questions by articulating strengths and skills.

Capitalizing on Your Strengths across the Career Spectrum

Identify your strengths! What are your strengths and how can you leverage them in your academic and professional career. Register for this workshop. Limited to 25 students. Registration will close on November 1, 2019, or before. The deadline for completing the assessment is November 8, 2019. You will be issued a code to take the Clifton Strengths assessment. The workshop will interactive! All students will have the opportunity to participate in a discussion about how strengths can be used to improve well-being, team dynamics, and community exclusivity.
