Our mission is to encourage students to realize their career dreams by:
- assisting them with developing self knowledge,
- obtaining educational and occupational information,
- selecting personally suitable academic programs and experiential opportunities,
- developing effective job search skills, and ultimately
- attaining their employment and/or graduate school goals.

We provide the following resources and programs to help students explore, select and pursue a meaningful career:
Career Counseling
Students seeking assistance with choosing a major and career planning can schedule an appointment with a career counselor by calling (404) 894-2550.
Annual Georgia Tech Majors Fair
Faculty, academic advisors and alumni are available to discuss undergraduate academic programs, answer questions and provide information on related careers.
Internships
Students seeking practical work experience related to their major can learn about the Internship Program by attending an information sessions. Upcoming information sessions are listed in the 'UPCOMING STUDENT PROGRAMS' calendar on our homepage.
Career Seminars
Workshops related to choosing a major, resumes, interviewing, business etiquette, job search strategies, etc. are conducted each semester. These seminars are listed in the 'UPCOMING STUDENT PROGRAMS' calendar on our homepage.
Career Focus
Company representatives present on job search related topics. This event takes place the first week of September, prior to the annual Georgia Tech Career Fair
Resume, Interviewing and Job Search Assistance
Students can receive feedback on resumes and answers to interviewing and job search related questions during drop-in hours. See the front page of the website for daily times.
Mock Interviews
To receive individual coaching on interview skills, students can take advantage of the computerized Optimal Interview program available on the Career Services website. Optionally students can schedule a practice interview after following the proscribed process.
Career Library
The career library contains information on various career fields, career planning, graduate school, job search related topics, and potential employers. Publication Listing
Campus Recruiting
Students can submit their resume, and sign up for interviews for internship and full-time positions on CareerBuzz. Employers post internship, part-time and full-time positions on CareerBuzz.
