Join the Career Center Parent Professional Network

We recognize that Parents and families play an important role in student career development and employment.   Parents and families involved in the Career Center Parent Professional network can support the students of Georgia Tech by offering co-op, internships and full-time job opportunities.

By becoming involved you can assist the Career Center in showing students how work works.  We assist students in becoming Career Ready.   The Georgia Tech Career Center uses CareerBuzz - a free, user-friendly job database that allows employers to recruit students.  Establishing your profile through CareerBuzz ensures that your job opportunities are visible to the largest student population.  Students have 24x7 access to the system to search for full-time, part-time, co-op and internship positions.

Co-op Program

Undergraduate Co-op is an accredited academic program in which students alternate semesters of full-time study with semesters of full-time paid work.  By working with the same employer for three or more semesters, co-op students gain at least a year’s worth of valuable professional work experience in their major.  A graduate co-op program, of shorter duration is offered as well.

Internship Program

The Georgia Tech Internship Program includes full- and part-time work experiences.  Interns typically work for one semester.  Students may work for the same employer, or work for a different employer each term worked.

Full-Time Employment

Assist students with finding employment in the private, public, governmental and nonprofit sectors.
