Sonia Anderson has worked with Georgia Tech undergraduate students for more than 27 years. Prior to joining Georgia Tech, she worked as a Risk Analyst for the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. As a Career Development Advisor she assists students with resume preparation, networking, interviewing and job search strategies, and facilitates seminars on career development topics. She is an active member of the Southern Association of Colleges and Employers. Majors served: Biomedical Engineering, Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science, Computational Media, Discrete Mathematics, Earth & Atmospheric Sciences, Environmental Engineering, Materials Science & Engineering, Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering, Neurosciences, Nuclear & Radiological Engineering and Psychology. She strongly encourages students to participate in the Co-operative Education and/or Internship Program because experiential learning creates an opportunity for them to engage and to apply academic understandings through hands-on experience while simultaneously gaining new experiences.
Sonia is a graduate of Rutgers University with a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Marketing.
